Meet Britta

Britta Riley is a public participation artist and social entrepreneur whose background in journalism, technology, and museum exhibit design informs work that invites people into lived experiences of collective power. Her practice spans participatory artworks, social minded ventures, and community organizing initiatives that help communities move toward meeting shared needs together. Her work with local groups around the world has been featured by The New York Times, TED Talks, NPR, MoMA, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the American Museum of Natural History, Forbes, Fast Company (Impact), ArtNews, and Popular Science.

She consults with socially minded organizations internationally, makes participatory art with museums, and works on local projects in Kingston, NY.
